Our hand-blown glass urns are made exclusively for Unique Urns by a nationally recognized glass artist. His works are infused with the energies of the earth, air, and sea, which make them especially appropriate for memorial art. The optional animal head topper is reminiscent of the ancient Egyptian belief that a realistic representation of the deceased was imperative to achieve eternal life after death. The spirit had to be able to recognize the remains when it came back to be reunited. We do not make this claim, but our animal head toppers make the beauty of the art just that much more personal.
